Autumn foliage of Prunus hirtipes, early November. An  early-blooming cherry brought to the Western Hemisphere by plant explorer E.H. Wilson, who made numerous trips to the hills of western China in the early 1900s. White blossom with a pale pink cast, in early April or occasionally late March.
