Hydrangea macrophylla 'Schloss Wackerbarth', early August. Named after the grand Schloss Wackerbarth, situated between Dresden and Meissen in Germany,  its rounded, tri-colour flower-heads are formed by dozens of red florets with blue-purple centres and each petal is tipped with lime green.
