Pear 'Beurre Superfin', early September. A French pear "raised in 1837 by M. Goubault at Mille Pieds near Angers and first fruited in 1844. A high quality pear which grows well, but does not crop well on all sites." ('Pears' by Jim Arbury and Sally Pinhey)
