Impatiens balfourii, mid October. Common names include Balfour's touch-me-not, Kashmir balsam, and Poor Man's Orchid. Native to the western Himalayas. Plants grow approx. 1m tall and 60cm wide. Lavender, pink & white orchid-shaped flowers are produced profusely above lush green foliage from June to October. Self seeds prolifically.
