Primula x venusta, glasshouse, late March. Known as the Idrija primula, this is a rare hybrid between Primula auricula and endemic Primula carniolica, found only in the mountains around the town of Idrija in Slovenia. Flowers may vary in colour from scarlet-red to almost white with shades of violet, or honey-yellow with shades of violet.
