Apple 'Pitmaston Pine Apple', mid September. An English dessert apple first raised in a bout 1785 in Herefordshire. The name 'Pitmaston' derives from the fact that it was shown at the London Horticultural Society in 1845 by Mr Williams of Pitmaston near Worcester.
