Rosa Peace (syn. Rosa 'Madame A. Meilland'), mid July. Bred by the French horticulturist Francis Meilland, 1935-9. In In 1976, it was named the World's Favorite Rose, and by the early 1990s it was estimated to have sold over one hundred million plants.
