Long, hanging flower strings or catkins of the hybrid wing-nut tree (Pterocarya x rehderiana), a cross between the Caucasian wing-nut (P. fraxinifolia) and the Chinese wing-nut (P. stenoptera). Named after Alfred Rehder who first raised it in 1879 in the United States.
